Calling all Weed Wranglers! Come help us restore the ecological health of Cool Creek Park on Saturday, Oct. 9 from 9:00am - 12:00pm. We will be removing invasive herbs and shrubs. This prevents them from crowding out native trees, shrubs and flowers and allows for replanting of native flora in hopes of creating a diverse ecosystem that will provide habitat that is vital to native wildlife.
This project requires pulling and cutting. Gloves, long pants and sturdy shoes are recommended.
Minors must have authorized parental permission.
The park is located at 2000 E. 151st Street, Carmel, IN 46033.
There is ample parking located within the park and signs will direct to the meeting location.
